New Malden's definitely still a Korean (and Sri Lankan) outpost: even the NatWest and William Hill's etc. have their signage in Korean.

Very informative but 5 years out of date.
I never hear any English when out on the tube in London these days, unless it's my Mrs sitting next to me - and I'm not sure about here amymore as she started wearing a burka.

Interesting read.
But I'd probably be more interested in the variations in English across the Tube map, e.g. where can one still here wight pwopa wyming slang, versus haughty-silver-spoon-up-the-arse-hoity-toityish, etc, etc - especially as I suspect the distribution would've changed in recent years. Shoreditch etc yuppifying and all that

The reason there are so many frogs in that part of town, if that's the question, is supposedly due to the Lycée Français* being in South Ken.

Those people who want to hear
Panjabi should visit Southall, where it’s the first language of 21.7 per cent of locals, while someone wanting to hear Bengali should try Shadwell, where it’s spoken by 32.8 per cent of residents.
Who would actually want to hear any of that?

Apart from the fact no one would really call that area "South West London" (it's the west end), but isn't this partially (or wholly) to do with all the billionnairs who buy houses there for tax reasons but don't actually live there?
